It’s official! Apple will be launching the iPhone on June 29 (Friday). The news came in a series of three TV commercials that aired on Sunday night. You can see the three Apple iPhone TV ads here:

As stated on “A new era for the cell phone market,” the Apple iPhone will cost $499 with a two-year contract for the 4GB model and $599 for the 8GB model (also with a two-year contract).
